Pen Computers

Designed to give you the freedom to create anywhere Wacom MobileStudio Pro packs a whole studio of creative tools into a lightweight mobile pen computer featuring the new Wacom Pro Pen 2. Move seamlessly through your workflow from 2D to 3D wherever you want to create.

Whatever you’re creating, you’ll see every pica, pixel or polygon in perfect detail. With a resolution of up to 4K and color accuracy to 96% of Adobe® RGB, the screen on your Wacom MobileStudio Pro will make your work look amazing. But while you work, it’ll feel amazing too. The new etched glass surface provides the perfect amount of resistance to recreate the familiar feel and control of pen on paper. So working on Wacom MobileStudio Pro feels totally natural, instantly.

Pen Feel

Be sure to try out different nib types as they each offer a different feel and feedback on the tablet. Wacom supplies four different nib types: standard, hard felt, stoke and flex. Hard felt is designed to feel like a felt-tip pen, while stroke is designed to simulate a brush. Flex, meanwhile, is designed to feel like pastels. Experimenting with the different types can help you gain a better idea of which type is suitable for different tasks.

Setup

To really fine-tune how your pen responds to your inputs, you can customise the tip feel to suit how you draw.  Fine tuning the pressure will help improve the overall feel and ease of use as these tablets have a wide range of pressure sensitivity.

You can find the tip feel settings in the Preferences window. Most come with a handy gauge to show you just how much pressure you’re applying. When setting it up you need to find a balance between easily being able to apply full pressure and still having enough control and finesse to apply light touches.

You can customise your applications and how you work with each one; great for setting up app specific shortcuts.

Positioning

Best position for your graphics tablet is centred in front of you; place the keyboard to one side and definitely bin your mouse or track pad!

Seriously, by programming keyboard shortcuts and fully utilising the available tools within your tablet software, your work flow will really improve.
